doing mullets together

it's a rare thing to get together with three of my sisters and their families and boyfriends along with our folks. Yet, today was just that. A day, back in Indiana, hanging out and having our Christmas celebration and gift-opening together. Doing life together. Great fun was had by all as we played Catchphrase. I'm not sure where some of the comments come from, yet it makes for some hillarious comments. We also looked through some old boxes of photos from the our childhood. Fun memories and silly stories that I had completely forgotten about. That's one fun element of being with loved ones; the collective memories that come out of the recesses of our combined memories, filling in the details for eachother. Actually, I completely forgot how long my mullett got in '88. I think my perm exagerated it ... Business in the front... Party in the back. Looking forward to more relaxing time together and visiting with Lara's family tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll be able to connect with a few dear friends from one of our previous LifeGroups this weekend. Familiy and friends. Doing life together. Good stuff. Even without the mullett perm... Now it's a party in the front ... At least we're not doing mullets together anymore. |
