when in rome

I remember when it used to take a lot for us to cancel school.  It seemed that unless there was 10 inches of snow, we went about life pretty normally; albeit with chains on our tires and barbed wire on our feet.

In this part of Maryland, near Baltimore, a dusting of snow sends the entire county into turmoil and panic.

And this afternoon, it did just that.  And to be "safe" we're going to err on canceling our Midweek Connection activities at ACC for tonight.

When in Rome, do as the Roman's do.  When in the Baltimore-DC Metro Area, do as they do...

Close school a day early when there are 2 inches of snow forecasted.  (They really do that here.)

Break out the barbed-wire....
